Parts of Speech Double Negatives Subject-Verb Commas
It has "fact sheets" that explain different topics, quizzes to test your understanding and, most importantly, it has games to practice the skill or concept.
This "game" is good extra practice for identifying the parts of speech. There is an easy setting for just verbs and nouns and a harder setting for all the parts of speech. (Students will be learning about all the parts of speech throughout the 6th grade and should be able to complete the harder level. )
What is the plural of octopus? Octopi or octopuses? This is good practice for correctly pluralizing words, especially of difficult or irregular words. (Octopuses is correct.)
